Do you know-Samsung Star 3 Will Be Announced in UK in March as Tocco Lite 2

Samsung Star 3 was officially introduced in January 2012 and will be announced in UK in March under the name of Tocco Lite 2. The phone was boasted modest, wallet-friendly hardware but is a low end phone which has no 3G function.

Indeed, measuring 11.5mm thick and weighing 95g, the Tocco Lite 2 should slip stealthily into your pockets without creating any unsightly bulging.
The new Tocco Lite 2 is an affordable feature phone that comes with a 3 inch QVGA touch screen display, TouchWiz Lite UI, Samsung’s ChatON messaging service, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, 3.2MP camera which can record QCIF videos, and MicroSD card support. There’s no GPS and the Tocco Lite 2 isn’t a smart phone, although it does support a range of social media and internet applications.
More positive is that Samsung’s mercifully ditched the proprietary headphone socket that besmirched the first Tocco Lite. A 3.5mm socket on the Tocco Lite 2 means you’ll be able to plug in your own headphones, rather than settling for the naff pair that comes in the box.
The Tocco Lite 2 will be available in UK in early March 2012. And there are white and black versions. The selling point with the Star 3 is likely to be the cost – because it doesn’t have GPS or 3G support then it is much cheaper than a low-end smart phone would be.

As a mobile phone, it surely has limitation on supported video format. We can get the specification from gsmarena that the phone supports H.263/H.264/MP4 video player. So you convert some HD videos for the phone and can enjoy MP4 videos on Samsung Star 3.
